⚙️ These roles are technical, so having the required trade certifications or technical qualifications (like IWT certificates or ITI in relevant trades) is mandatory.

- Inspector (Master/Workshop): 36 + 10 posts
- Sub-Inspector (Master): 128 posts
- ASI (Engine Driver): 89 posts
- Head Constable (Master): 183 posts
- Constable (Crew): 279 posts

Salary (Pay Scale)
- Inspector (Group B): ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
- Head Constable (Group C): ₹25,500 – ₹81,100
- Constable (Group C): ₹21,700 – ₹69,100
(Other posts fall under Level 4 to Level 6 pay scales as per 7th CPC)
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: 10th or 12th pass
- Additional: Relevant technical certificate from Inland Water Transport (IWT) or equivalent authority
- ITI holders in related trades are eligible
- Ex-Servicemen quota will apply as per government norms
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years

Physical Standards (For Male Candidates)
Height:
- General/OBC/SC/EWS – 165 cm
- ST – 160 cm
- Hill area/ST (NE states) – 155 cm
- Kumaoni/Gorkhas – 162.5 cm
Chest: 75–80 cm (all categories)

- ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS
- No fee for SC/ST and all female candidates
